The basic man down rotation.

<IMG SRC="nonflash.gif" BORDER=0>
The basic idea is:
  • you rotate opposite the direction of the ball
  • pressure the ball, including at "X"
  • have the defense on your left and right up on the offense player calling out "left" and "right"

When the ball is passed, the person taking the ball calls out "Ball" and the defense calls out "left" and "right".  The remaining defender calls "split" and splits the 2 remaining offense players.  This continues in a rotation as the ball is moved around.  If the ball changes direction, the rotation changes direction opposite the direction the ball is moving.  The crease defense stays locked on that player.
